GPS Keeps Moving in the Right Direction

We have adjusted to village life in India.  Every morning at 6:00 am we sit on the veranda of The Villa, with our coffee, and watch our neighbour as she sweeps the packed earth in front of the house.  One morning, we noticed that a certain aroma, other than the coffee, surrounded us.  Finally, we realized that not only was she throwing water over her newly swept front, but it was water mixed with cow dung!   We knew that cows are sacred to the Hindus, but we were also told that this practice kept the insects away and brought good luck for the household.  We are not sure about the luck,...
